Winter: Adventure & Survival Skills

Overview

During this 4-day trip you’ll experience winter adventures such as snowmobiling, ice fishing, dog sledding, cross country skiing and snowshoeing. You’ll also learn survival skills and how to be comfortable doing wintertime activities.

Location & Lodging

The trip takes place in Northern Minnesota and participants are housed in heated dorm-style rooms with showers and hot meals.

  • Survival Skills: Snow cave construction, dressing properly, cold weather injury treatment, etc.

Safety

Safety is paramount – activities will be modified as weather conditions dictate.

The only cost to teens/mentors is their transportation to/from Base Camp and a Minnesota fishing license.
