2026/2027 Adventure Trips Standby Application

Our Trip Application window has now closed. However, you may still submit an application to be placed on the StandBy List.

If you have more than one young man you’d like to go on a trip (i.e. you have several sons), please submit separate applications for each boy.

By filling out this single application, you can indicate interest in multiple trips and your preferred order. If you applied for your youth to participate in prior years but he was not selected, please fill out this updated application.

We ask several questions regarding your young man’s home life, challenges he’s facing, etc., to help us prayerfully make our decisions. Does the youth have any significant medical issues? This includes prescription medications (including antidepressants), heart/breathing issues, mobility issues, or any other factors that may impact them while on our wilderness adventures. While your answers may not necessarily disqualify the youth from participating, they’re essential in that we may not have close access to an emergency room. Please answer yes or no. MENTOR:

The mentor must be an adult male. Their role is to be a companion to the youth with whom the boy feels comfortable discussing Christian Manhood. Youth may either bring a mentor with them (i.e., father, relative, family friend) or a background-checked OMM mentor will be provided (these are men of strong Christian faith experienced in working with youth). If your youth needs a mentor, please enter “needs mentor” for the Last Name entry. Youth participating in our Elk/Pronghorn and Gator Hunts will have their own mentor on the trip. Due to group size restrictions for the Wilderness Canoeing trips, however, not every youth will be able to bring their own mentor. If your youth is selected for the canoe trip, you will be contacted to confirm whether the mentor listed on this application can participate. We do our absolute best to have mentors listed on the application be able to join their young man on the trip.

If no, please share a bit of background on their father and the relationship with your youth (i.e. deceased/divorced, where he lives, how often they see each other, what their relationship is like, etc.).

Please describe the young man’s home/social life. Are there any specific challenges he’s facing? (i.e. low self-esteem, depression, being bullied, etc.

Does the young man have a relationship with Jesus? If yes, please describe it.
